Help Us Feed Our Neighbors in Need

Every day, families across San Diego and Imperial Counties struggle to put food on the table. Rising grocery costs and dwindling food bank supplies have left many facing impossible choices between rent, medicine, and meals. Catholic Charities’ Emergency Food Distribution Network Plus (EFDN+) is a lifeline, providing nutritious food and vital support services to those in need.
With 21 distribution sites, 13 pantries, and partnerships with 15 grocery stores and restaurants, EFDN+ rescues fresh food, prevents waste, and ensures that perishable items reach families instead of landfills. Our program goes beyond food assistance, connecting participants to housing, job training, and benefits like CalFresh for long-term stability.
Since 2020, we’ve distributed over 3.8 million pounds of food, serving 443,400 individuals—but the need continues to grow. Your support—through donations, volunteering, or advocacy—helps us ensure that no one in our community faces hunger alone.
Together, we can nourish bodies, strengthen futures, and create pathways to stability.
