Cardinal Robert W. McElroy and Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego encourage anyone no matter immigration status to not fear retaliation when reporting a crime to law enforcement. Therefore, we have partnered with The San Diego County District’s Attorney’s office to ensure no one has any ...uncertainty about reporting a crime.

The San Diego District Attorney’s Office does not, in accordance with California law, report immigration status and does not tolerate any actions intended to interfere with or retaliate against potential crime witnesses.

Anyone who has been a victim of a crime and needs assistance can call 619-531-4041.

As we begin this holiday season, we would like to share five stories of selflessness. Through these tough times and challenges, it is easy to be selfish, to focus on our needs and what is best for “me to succeed.” These are stories of humanity at its best. It is an experience to see humanity ...persevere; People work selflessly to support their family, their community, their fur family, and seniors. Each week through emails, social media, and our website, these five new stories will be shared throughout the new year. Please enjoy this teaser video.
