To be an exemplary leader in recognizing the intrinsic value of each woman by assisting women with few or no resources to achieve an improved quality of life, to become healthy, fulfilled, and contributing members of society.

To provide a safe, supportive environment and opportunities for women with few or no resources to gather, begin, and continue self-help efforts.

Statement of Purpose

To address the root causes of homelessness for women by creating communities that value individual needs and differences, with opportunities to effect changes in their lives.

Rachel’s Women’s Center

Drop-in day center for homeless and very-low income women

Mission

To provide a safe, supportive environment and opportunities for women with few or no resources to gather, begin, and continue self-help efforts.

Rachel’s Night Shelter

Emergency shelter for homeless women in San Diego

Mission

Rachel’s Night Shelter exists to provide supportive, safe emergency, short-term, and mid-term shelter for homeless women.

House of Hope

Emergency shelter for women and women with children in Imperial Valley

Mission

The House of Hope strives to provide exemplary quality emergency shelter for homeless women and children and homeless unattached women that is drug and alcohol-free, safe, and supportive.

  • 24-hour shelter in home environment
