Hope Is Bold
Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego cordially invites you to join us in celebrating 101 years of Matthew:25.
We were created in 1919-1920 during the Influenza Pandemic to address the urgent needs in our communities. 100 years later, in 2020 another pandemic hit us, which once again called our team and volunteers to put our faith-into-action. 2020 was our centennial year. The only centennial celebration we had was to do exactly what we did 100 years ago, to assist our communities in times of great need.
In mid-2019 Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA) scheduled its 111th Annual Gathering in San Diego for September 21-23, 2021, with the theme “Hope Is Bold.”
At every CCUSA’s Annual Gathering, the local agency hosts a dinner for the attendees. As the local host of this year’s Annual Gathering, we are expanding our guests to this dinner to include our volunteers, team members and partners, who showed the true meaning of being a “Good Samaritan,” and helping our neighbors in spite of the ongoing pandemic.
More than a year later, our communities are slowly recovering and our lives are normalizing. Therefore, we invite you to join us in celebrating our 101 years of Matthew:25, and honor our volunteers, partners and team members, who showed the world that “Hope Is Bold.”
