This event is unlike any other project. Volunteers of all ages and from all corners of the region come together joyously for one purpose: pack 1 million meals for families living in poverty. They work in teams, assembly-line style, all to the beat of fun music.

This extraordinary event returns in 2025 on June 14 at Cathedral Catholic High School. The organizers, the deacons of the San Diego Diocese, will once more need over 3,000 volunteers and $300,000 in donations to buy the meal ingredients.

Parishes, schools, clubs and families are encouraged to organize their members to participate as a group, and to raise funds for the event. Every $1 that is donated pays for four nutritious meals, in collaboration with the organization Kids Around the World.
